Scott Farrell

Scott Farrell is the Director of Food & Beverage at Sky Valley Country Club.  As the Director, he oversees all restaurants and bars, all kitchen operations, and the operations of the Banquets/ Catering/ Weddings/Special Events at the Clubhouse and Pavilion.

Scott was previously the Director of Food and Beverage at The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort and Spa in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, Scott worked as a Sales Representative for Frito-Lay in Las Vegas for three years, becoming one of the Lead Sales Reps in the District. His desire to more involved with customers lead to his involvement in the opening of the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, the biggest 5 star/ 5 diamond Resort in the world.  For 6 years Scott was the Manager of the Butler Department overseeing 50 suites, 2 full service VIP Bars, and 2 VIP Lounges with 100 Team Members. Scott helped launch the maintenance, housekeeping and complete servicing of the 3,600 to 14,000 square foot suites, as well as meeting all the demands of the Guests and Celebrities that stayed there.

Scott has worked with many Chefs such as Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali and Thomas Keller, all of whom instilled a work ethic of ensuring the highest of dining and entertainment standards for customers. Notable stops in Scott’s career include Longbar, a bistro in Pacific Heights, San Francisco, Nick’s” in San Clemente and Laguna Beach, and Emeril Lagasse’s Restaurant, Delmonico Steakhouse where he started as a back server, and then promoted to Captain where he assisted Super-Sommelier Kevin Vogt, a Wine Spectator and James Beard Award Winner.
